![]() ![]() Rather than use the DS's sample rate of 32728hz and upsampling to the system rate, they set the DSP's rate to the system rate (usually being 44.1khz or 48khz), resulting in innacurate filtering, or lack thereof. This is due to how audio emulation works, at least in DraStic and DeSmuME, but potentially standalone desktop MelonDS and MelonDS Android (I haven't tested those yet). IMPORTANT: If you are going to use this mod with an emulator, it may not be optimal. All the loops sound perfect, don't worry. And even more critically, in my opinion, it uses the full-length songs all the music in this game was shortened significantly, but this is no longer an issue once patched. This is a patch for Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor that ups the music sample rate from 16364hz to 32728hz, the DS's native sample rate. Figured I'd post this here, nothing to lose. ![]()
